As part of our community health awareness program, in partnership with the Michigan Health & Wellness Initiative, during the Grand Opening we will be offering FREE blood pressure checks, breathing tests, and FREE laboratory tests including intestinal flora, antioxidant status, 10-parameter urinalysis, and H. Pylori testing (a common cause of ulcers and autoimmune disorders).

We will be taking $15 donations, all of which will be given to a local charity.

Laboratory testing is on a first come, first served basis until test kits are gone.

Well it’s only January and already Dr. Morningstar and Dr. Strauchman have some research projects in the works. Here’s an update on where they stand:

• A two-year follow-up scoliosis study, based upon the SOSORT presentation given by Dr. Morningstar in Montreal 2010 is currently awaiting a decision to publish after secondary review. This paper shows the improvements obtained in adult patients with scoliosis, and that these improvements lasted two years after treatment was completed.
• A case report on a patient with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis is also in initial peer review. This report shows the results of treatment 4.5 years after treatment was concluded.
• A case report on the HcG diet is in the final stage of preparation and will be submitted for peer review this month. This report shows how a certain homeopathic HcG protocol resulted in a total weight loss of 71 lbs in 90 days. This report is authored by Dr. Strauchman and Dr. Morningstar.
• Dr. Morningstar is currently collaborating with researchers in Utah on a fibromyalgia treatment study using the Pettibon System. This study is also in its final stages of production and is expected to be submitted to a medical journal in early February.
• Finally, Dr. Morningstar, along with fellow ARC3D co-founder Dr. Roger Elmer of Las Vegas, NV, are in the process of completing a review paper on the outcomes associated with non-surgical scoliosis treatments. This paper compares and contrasts the viewpoints of scoliosis physicians in the United States and Canada vs. the European countries. This papers hopes to help readers in North America compare the advantages in trying non-surgical scoliosis treatments such as ARC3D, even in cases of severe but stable scoliosis.

Dr. Strauchman and Dr. Morningstar will be among the main speakers at the upcoming 4th Annual Michigan Healthy Living’s “Spring Into Health” Natural Health Fair & Expo. The Expo is  Saturday, March 26th at the Genesys Conference Center, next to the Genesys Athletic Club.

Dr. Strauchman’s presentation at the March expo will be titled, “The Importance of Nutrition for the Cancer Patient”. In it she will be discussing the pitfalls of conventional therapy when performed by itself, and the advantages of using revolutionary IV nutritionals and injectables, as well as dietary modification.

Dr. Morningstar’s presentation will be titled, “Resolve Your Fibromyalgia With the Factor Integration Model(TM) of Treatment: How Comprehensive Management can Restore Your Quality of Life.”  Topics will include heavy metal toxicity and chelation, positional cervical cord compression, whiplash injuries, manipulation under anesthesia, and compounded pain topicals for immediate pain relief.
